Horses in Spring

Springtime with horses is a treat. As soon as the days become longer horses start to lose the hair that they grew to keep them warm during the winter months. Grooming them becomes an effort to keep hair away from my face as it falls away form their body. After months of wearing blankets to keep themselves warm they are happy to go out in the spring warmth without that burden. Unfortunately they also love to roll on the ground, so mud becomes their friend, UGH.

Sophie has got spring fever and is

frolicking around, just plain delighted. Sammie is more subdued at the moment but still enjoying the warmth of the sun on her back.

They are both anxious to meet the new clients from ANOVA and WRRC and will soon review their parts in the activities of workshops.
